Brenna Therese

Brenna is an abstract artist living and working in Portland, Oregon. Her paintings, which feature a delicate balance of thoughtful marks and spontaneous expression, represent a conversation between the artist and the canvas. Brenna is inspired and guided by the process itself, noticing and responding to the interplay of raw canvas, diluted paint pours, evolving techniques, and even weather. This translates to subtle layers of color and texture, precious accidents, and an ever-evolving color palette. Her goal is to create art that makes people feel deeply and simultaneously serves as the backdrop to everyday life. She hopes that, in some small way, her artwork can put a visual to feelings, moments, and experiences that can’t be summarized by words.

Caitlin Pashalek

Caitlin Pashalek is a Portland-based interdisciplinary visual artist.  Her work explores perspective, systems, processes, and memory through abstract and representational lenses. Her practice includes painting, printmaking, collage, and sculpture, often using unusual materials and experimental techniques repurposed and reimagined from her work as a visual development artist on animated motion pictures.

Charles Salas-Humara

Self taught, Charlie began painting as another means of expressing his love of dance and music as well as his love for the world unnoticed, the spaces that are all around us but never our focal point. Painting with acrylic, oil, charcoal and collage, Charlie plays out a song and dance through the movement on each canvas with a mixture of bold markings and soft brush strokes, romantic symbolism and sometimes words. Charlie began his artistic career as a musician and has shown in Portland Oregon, Los Angeles and New York.
