Mood boards are one of the most valuable tools in our design process because they help set the vision and bring ideas to life. They allow you to see our concepts take shape while helping us collaborate on color palettes, finishes, materials, and overall layout. Creating mood boards also allows us to present different design directions and compare options side by side. For example, you may see different coffee table selections, rug choices, or floor lamp styles within the same concept. This allows us to explore what resonates most with you and refine the design until it feels just right.
For us, floor plans are an essential tool in our tool belt. Every room has its quirks, whether it's an unusual layout, challenging window placement, or an awkwardly placed wall. By pairing the floor plan with the mood board, we can thoughtfully plan the layout and begin to bring the overall vision to life. This is where the design starts to feel real, as you see how the furnishings, finishes, and flow of the space come together.
