The Designers Are In!
One of our favorite things to do at EWF Modern is to help clients transform spaces. Whether you're looking to refresh an existing room or start with a completely blank slate, we're here to guide you every step of the way. We understand that taking on a design project can feel overwhelming. It’s not always easy to define your style, visualize the finished space, or know which pieces will work best together. That’s where our designers come in.
To give you a behind-the-scenes look at how we work our magic, we’ve outlined our design process below. Consider it a sneak peek behind the curtain so you know exactly what to expect when working with our design experts.

Mood boards are one of the most valuable tools in our design process because they help set the vision and bring ideas to life. They allow you to see our concepts take shape while helping us collaborate on color palettes, finishes, materials, and overall layout. Creating mood boards also allows us to present different design directions and compare options side by side. For example, you may see different coffee table selections, rug choices, or floor lamp styles within the same concept. This allows us to explore what resonates most with you and refine the design until it feels just right.
For us, floor plans are an essential tool in our tool belt. Every room has its quirks, whether it's an unusual layout, challenging window placement, or an awkwardly placed wall. By pairing the floor plan with the mood board, we can thoughtfully plan the layout and begin to bring the overall vision to life. This is where the design starts to feel real, as you see how the furnishings, finishes, and flow of the space come together.
At EWF Modern, our team combines experience, education, and a passion for design to help uncover your vision. We take the time to learn what you love, what you don’t, how you live, and what you hope to achieve in your space. From there, we bring those ideas to life with thoughtful design solutions tailored specifically to you. Interested? Sign up for a free consultation today!
